Hallway at entrance to master bedroom of 544 Castle Drive Exhibit F-60.  In their book <em>Fatal Justice,</em> authors Fred Bost and Jerry Potter claim in footnote #3 that "Unidentified yellow wax with an unidentified embedded hair in it was found on the hall wall (CID Exhibit F-60;...)."  This misinformation is also displayed on a prominent Jeffrey MacDonald "information" website, where it is described as "Waxy substance with hair imbedded [sic] in it..."<BR><BR>The facts are that Exhibit F-60 is described by the Army CID as "Yellow matter from north hall wall."  The findings state that (1) examinations "did not reveal any data of significance or relevance" (paragraph 49) and (2) Examination of Exhibits F-60...showed same to be a "small amount of hard yellow and white substance.  No chemical tests were conducted on this substance" (paragraph 62).  Nowhere in any CID or FBI findings does it state that this was wax or a "waxy substance," or that a hair was found embedded in it.
